Moulding Boxes and Track Lines

· The moulding box play a vital role in the foundry industry, a molding box divided into two halves is prepared to receive the pattern.

  • Track lines of suitable length to accommodate 60 cars

  • Moulding boxes: Size 20 x 20 x 6 inches (Both cope and drag)

Induction Melting Furnace

  • Power supply unit: Digitally controlled VF-VFI solid state; 250 kW / 1 kHz, 433 V full IGBT series inverter with automation; 6-pulse; digital energy monitoring system

  • Melting crucible: 300 kg capacity with hydraulic tilting

Raw Material Handling

Monorail structure on furnace platform provided with wire rope hoist for handling of raw material.

  • Wire rope hoist: 1 Ton lifting capacity; 6 mtr. Lift with digital weighing scale

  • Dedicated storage provided for alloys and other consumables

Pouring

  • Ladles: T-spout ladles (2 Nos.) of 300 kg capacity each; 1 ladle for Magnesium treatment.

  • Monorail structure with ladle handlers provided above track lines for pouring of molten metal

Grinders

  • Fettling involves the removal of any excess material while linishing involves grinding the component to improve the surface flatness.

  • Pedestal grinders (2 nos.)

  • Pencil and hand grinders provided for final finishing

Shot Blasting

  • 300 kg batch capacity front close loop semi-automatic machine (hanger type)

  • Cycle time: 4-5 mins

  • Dust collector with fabric filter bags
