Induction Melting Furnace
Power supply unit: Digitally controlled VF-VFI solid state; 250 kW / 1 kHz, 433 V full IGBT series inverter with automation; 6-pulse; digital energy monitoring system
Melting crucible: 300 kg capacity with hydraulic tilting
Raw Material Handling
Monorail structure on furnace platform provided with wire rope hoist for handling of raw material.
Wire rope hoist: 1 Ton lifting capacity; 6 mtr. Lift with digital weighing scale
Dedicated storage provided for alloys and other consumables
Pouring
Ladles: T-spout ladles (2 Nos.) of 300 kg capacity each; 1 ladle for Magnesium treatment.
Monorail structure with ladle handlers provided above track lines for pouring of molten metal
Grinders
Fettling involves the removal of any excess material while linishing involves grinding the component to improve the surface flatness.
Pedestal grinders (2 nos.)
